Atmosphere, Action and Re-Action - Art talk with Rob Eder
You’re invited to join artist and art educator Rob Eder at 11am on Wednesday, January 14th for the first of his 2025 engaging presentations titled “Atmosphere, Action and Re-Action”, in which he will be sharing his unique insights into the lives and works of Rembrandt Van Rijn, Jackson Pollock and Robert Rauschenberg.
Through the lens of a practicing artist and teacher, Rob will explore how these iconic figures challenged conventions, redefined visual language, and continue to inspire contemporary art. From Rembrandt’s introspective self to Pollock’s gestural self to Rauschenberg’s expanded, world-entangled self, painting becomes a record of consciousness in action. Don’t miss this thought-provoking journey through art history, innovation, and expression.
